At Elation, we believe the ocean is more than a place to play. It’s a living, breathing ecosystem worth protecting. Our recent collaboration with LivingSeas Asia is a powerful example of how fashion, storytelling and purpose can come together to inspire change. Together, we’ve created more than just a garment. We’ve created a conversation starter for ocean conservation.
A New Kind of Dive Center
LivingSeas Asia is redefining what it means to be a dive center. Based in Bali, they’re a community of divers, educators and conservationists who prioritise meaningful exploration, environmental responsibility and personal growth. Every dive is a journey not just into the sea, but into yourself.
They focus on building a community that cares. For the reef, for each other, and for the future. Conservation isn’t an afterthought, it’s the default setting.
Where It All Began: A Vision Beneath the Surface
As passionate divers, the founders of LivingSeas Asia recognised early on how crucial coral reefs are to the health of our oceans. So they took action by packing up, diving in and building something extraordinary.
The result? The LivingSeas Coral Restoration Site, now the second-largest restored reef in Indonesia and the largest in Bali. What began as a dream is now a thriving five-hectare reef in Padang Bai, where coral rubble has been transformed into a vibrant marine habitat teeming with life.
Coral, Community and a Cause
This isn't just about the ocean. It's also about people. The coral restoration team is largely made up of local youth from the surrounding community, who are trained and empowered to plant and maintain the reef. This not only supports ocean health but creates jobs, inspires sustainable practices and builds a stronger, more connected community.
The work being done here is restoring ecosystems and changing lives.
The Print: Blue Shells, Bold Conversations
To celebrate our partnership, we designed a unique blue shell print. Inspired by the tones and textures of a thriving underworld, it’s a bold and eye-catching design that truly stands out.
It turns heads, sparks curiosity, and gets people talking.
That’s the point. It's a way to start important conversations around coral restoration and the incredible efforts happening beneath the surface in Bali. Wearing it becomes more than a fashion choice. It becomes a statement of awareness and support.
Giving Back: $2 From Every Sale
To support LivingSeas and their mission, $2 from every piece sold will be donated directly to their coral restoration efforts. This small but impactful contribution helps fund the continued growth of their reef, the education of young divers and the transformation of the marine environment in Padang Bai.
