The Art Behind Elation’s Prints: Passion, Creativity & Small Designers

When you wear an Elation piece, you're not just throwing on a swimsuit—you're wearing a story. Every print has been carefully chosen, not just because it looks good (though it absolutely does), but because it has meaning. We don’t do mass-produced, soulless designs. We work with small, independent designers who put passion into every detail, and that’s what makes each piece feel so damn special.

Where Our Prints Come From

At Elation, we bring our prints to life in two ways:

1. Curated Designs – We buy pre-made prints from talented small designers who inspire us. These are unique works of art that we fall in love with and know will look incredible on our sisters of the sea.

2. Custom Creations – Sometimes, we’ve got a vision in mind and work directly with a designer to bring it to life. This way, we get something completely one-of-a-kind, designed specifically for our next collection.

Our upcoming drop features a design that means a lot to me. It was created by a good friend—someone I actually studied visual communications with back in school. Seeing her art on Elation swimwear feels like a full-circle moment and a reminder of why I love what we do.

Why We Support Small Designers

There’s something different about independent designers. Their work is personal, raw, and full of heart. By working with them, we’re not just getting incredible prints—we’re helping showcase real talent and keeping creativity at the core of Elation.

Every piece we create is about more than just looking good (though that’s a given 😉). It’s about authenticity, supporting artistry, and making sure everything we put out into the world has meaning.
