The Prints Pulled Me In,  the Comfort Won Me Over

My relationship with Elation The Label started when a fellow ocean-loving friend introduced me to the infamous Eagle Ray print years ago. I remember spotting it and instantly thinking, I need that. Naturally, I bought the exact same pair.

At first, it was the print that pulled me in, this instant connection to the ocean. But what kept me coming back was how the pieces felt. Unbelievably comfortable. Effortlessly flattering. Reliable in every moment. They became my absolute staples. I wore them everywhere, every day, and since then I’ve added multiple Boa Bottoms (with matching tops, of course) to my collection.

As my collection grew, so did the meaning behind it. 

More than just swimwear, 

That same Eagle Ray set is more than just swimwear to me. They were my first Elation swimwear and arrived at a time when my love for the ocean was really taking shape. I was studying marine science, surrounded by beautiful, ocean-minded people who became lifelong friends.

Every time I pull that set out, it brings me straight back to that chapter, full of curiosity, freedom, and connection. It makes me feel joyful and, honestly, a little nostalgic in the best possible way.

Elation fits seamlessly into the things I value most, its a brand that honours the places we care so deeply about. Resptecting the planet and protecting the ocean that gives us everything. 

But it’s more than just ethos. I’m a comfort girl through and through, and I’ll always choose something that feels good over something that just looks good. With Elation, I never have to compromise. I get both. And the patterns…

It feels good to wear something that celebrates the ocean, supports a small business striving for change and uplifts the women who love it.

But it’s also an everyday feeling you choose, even on the tough days. It’s the sunshine after a heavy moment, the breath of calm you find in the ocean. A swim, salty hair, sun on skin…

That is pure happiness, pure magic, pure Elation.

If you’ve ordered from us recently, you may have already experienced a little bit of Loz’s magic firsthand. She has been helping us with a small but meaningful project,  transforming leftover fabric offcuts into the sweetest reusable product bags.

These pieces were too small to become bikinis or even our new water resistant bikini bags, but we didn’t want them to go to waste. Loz helped us give them a new life. 

Each one is thoughtfully made and perfect for keeping little items organised when travelling, tucked into your handbag, or even used as a reusable gift wrap. A small reminder that sustainability can be both beautiful and practical and that our community plays a huge part in bringing these ideas to life.
