This weekend, we’re paddling out for more than just waves—we’re celebrating the strength, resilience, and unstoppable energy of women everywhere. International Women’s Day is more than just a date on the calendar; it’s a movement, a reminder of how far we’ve come and how much further we can go. And what better way to honour this than by bringing together an incredible crew of women for our Surf & Soul Meet-Up?

Why International Women’s Day Matters

March 8th isn’t just about recognition—it’s about action. It’s about amplifying voices, creating opportunities, and lifting each other up. From the boardroom to the lineup, women continue to push boundaries, proving that we belong in every space, in every industry, and on every wave.

Surfing itself has long been dominated by men, but times are changing. More women than ever are stepping into the water, owning their place in the lineup, and rewriting the narrative. This day is a celebration of that shift, of the courage it takes to show up, the persistence it takes to improve, and the stoke that comes from supporting one another in and out of the water.

Surf & Soul: More Than Just a Meet-Up

Our Surf & Soul Meet-Up is about more than just catching waves, it’s about connecting, reflecting, and setting intentions for the journey ahead. Here’s what’s going down:

🌺 9:00 AM – Breakfast at Milk & Madu (Padang Padang)
Fuel up with delicious breakfast combos and good coffee while we dive into a goal-setting workshop. We’ll set personal intentions for our surf journeys, whether it’s gaining confidence, pushing past fear, or simply enjoying the ride more.

🌺 10:30 AM – Paddle Out at Padang Padang Beach
We’ll head to the beach together, boards in hand, ready to share waves and energy in the lineup. No competition, no pressure, just pure joy and support as we embrace the power of the ocean and the strength within ourselves.

🌺 12:30 PM – Post-Surf Coconuts & Connection
Because what’s a surf session without a post-surf coconut? We’ll wind down, share stories, and soak up the moment together, celebrating our wins—both in the water and in life.
